Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, Institute for Social Work
The Institute for Social Work of the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences with 3500 students for the bachelor training, is one of the largest in the country. September 2017 a new bachelor course social work will start. The course exists of a general program and three routes: social work with youth, social work in health care and social work in communities. In addition, students can apply an accent in their study in the areas of creative cultural work and forensic social work. The education program is based on cooperation with professional practice and research. A digital platform provides a rich learning environment and support students learning on school, in practice and at home. Post graduate studies are the master courses ecological pedagogics, forensic social work and community development (under construction).
