The Alice Salomon Award acknowledges innovation and quality in Social Work Education. The award will be attributed to innovative teaching experiences initiated by social work schools inside a school or classroom setting OR in practice learning and field placement contexts. The outcome can be didactic projects, modules, courses, handbooks or other learning materials as well as broader school activities.
Experiences took place in the two years before this call (01/01/23 – 31/12/2024).
Awarded projects or experiences must be innovative and contribute to high standards in quality of Social Work Education holding the potential to impact pedagogical or practice experiences and contexts.
Applicant target groups involve social work educators, (bachelor, master or doctoral) students as well as service users, professionals, researchers and volunteers involved in Social Work Education.
